1st Grade Back-to-School Literacy Review

A first-week review pack for 1st grade that picks up right where Kindergarten left off: short vowels, reading and building CVC words, sight words, and capital letters and periods. Students read a decodable back-to-school mini-book, answer questions about it, and write about their summer on primary lines. It doubles as a quick informal assessment, with exit tickets and a full answer key.
