Riddle of the Day – August 2026

A back-to-school set of 24 riddles for Kindergarten and 1st grade: school things like the backpack, school bus, crayons and the playground slide, plus a week of late-summer riddles about watermelon, ice cream and the beach. Each riddle card has three short clues and three answer choices, with matching picture cards for the reveal, a 24-box recording sheet, review matching pages and two write-your-own riddle pages. It takes about five minutes a day and is a gentle way to teach listening, turn-and-talk and carpet routines in the first weeks of school.
