Hispanic Heritage Month: Celebrating Our Families & Cultures

A respectful, fact-checked Hispanic Heritage Month unit for Kindergarten and 1st grade with an eight-page informational reader about the languages, foods, music and family traditions of Hispanic cultures. Children learn Spanish greetings, numbers uno to diez and color words with picture cards, count and color in Spanish, and write about their own family's traditions. Use it from September 15 to October 15 to celebrate every child's heritage.
